Beaches at Chania

The prefecture of Chania allocates beautiful beaches.In the Northern department there are the beaches: Saint Apostles (4 km of western Chanias), Saint Marina (5 km from Chania with dense golden sand), Platania (a busy beach few metres from the homonym tourist resort), Maleme (12 km western of Chania, quiet beach of length of roughly four kilometres, with grey sand), Gramboysa (in the most west edge of Crete), Falasarna (with fine sand and length of 3 km roughly, acquaintance for her sunset),Georgioypoli (38km Easternly from Chania), Kalathas, Cross, Marathi (in the east of the peninsula of Cape).

In the southern province,we can meet the beaches of the gulf of Elafonissos, a beach with a slight pink color ,surrounded by a lagoon with coral reefs of Paleochora, the bay of Bath in the Country of Sfakion, Fragokastelo and the bight Prebeli
